I bought a Goliath from IC just before they sold the AQ franchise and just got around to painting it. The casting is so-so and I had to replace the gun. It looked more like a bow than a gun tube. It will hit the table in a couple of weeks when we play our first AQ game since the virus hit.  |

The gun tube looks good. Feel like putting a few MGs on it? I am considering it. Actually there is a spot over the “cab” that looks like something should be mounted. I am thinking a search light might be good. There was nothing in the kit to go there. I need to look through my parts box and see what I find, or think about scratching something. |

Good looking piece of work.
It can definitely use some MGs: one atop the turret and one over the crew compartment at least. Heavy MGs would be likely, as they are not carried by the crew and plenty of ammunition can be carried by the vehicle.

In my novels I noted that a Goliath ("Little David") really isn't a tank. It's not meant to mix it up with tripods and drones at close range. It was meant to mobilize a very large caliber artillery piece that could be used to pick off tripods at long range. I have one of these models, too, and I need to get it painted up. Maybe I'll add the lateral stabilization jacks to prevent it from flipping over if you fire the gun pointing to the side  |
