Flames and smoke, how do you make it?
Hey gang, I have spent a fair amount of time on here catching up and looking at all the cool stuff and earmarking ideas I want to steal in the near future! Something I have not found is how you guys make your smoke with the colors on it. What material do you use for smoke and I am assuming you use a spray can of paint to add color..
I realize this is not rocket science but it is one of the things I have not modeled before. Has anyone given a tutorial with pictures somewhere here in the forum? If not, would someone be willing to do so in the near future?
I am still considering making a static display at our next model trains show and I want to add some fire and smoke to the display.
thanks

Ditto...though I often will glue the above over a cheap battery operated tea light for an active flame effect. Super cheap and easy!

ok, Thank you very much. I did not think you guys are making this out of Cotton balls, but I was not sure!
I suppose I can just use poly fill from the craft store. I think my wife has some! I can’t wait to try it!
