Just listed this morning two new models for Conquerors line - the Fuel tender and the Ammo tender. Again, they lay it out nice - and you don't really 'need' the fuel tenders 'wagon' unless you want to put a bunch of coal in it. Good stuff and still only LB 5.75 (ei about 10.75 USD). site: conquerormodels.com

Yep I'm in lust of their figures, even if there are some 'engineering' problems. Just nitpicking, but a lot of their tanks have a transverse problem for their hull mounted guns, as the 'driver' boxes are in the way. Just saying. I'll overlook it completely as they've given us a very good line of vehicles to use for our continued AQ gaming. BTW, I can sooooo see your figures slave2gaming moving along beside those tanks, especially as the majority German/Prussian figures of Black Hat don't have gasmasks!

Thanks for nice comments much appreciated. slave2gaming yes I try to keep the prices reasonable - I think its best to allow people to get lots of models on the table than just a few. madmorgan - agreed some of the hull turret transverse are limited - I did consider this but given they do have a reasonable arc of fire, and the tank is also likely to turn to face the target so it can bring it sponsons in arc then I thought it would be OK... lets all keep quite about the guns elevation shall we A quick correction on price; at £5.75 this translate to US$8.25 (approx) not US$10.75, so even more of a bargain! A fellow AQ gamer Andy Macdonald-Rice has done a rather nice paint job on a few of the tanks - these are below: Regards Andy conquerormodels.com

Welcome to the forum Andy!! Yes, ordering direct gets those price conversions you mentioned. I'll be putting an order in today or tomorrow for my first batch of tanks. Hush is the word on elevations, right! After all, this is a 'fantasy' game and those models look great! Looking forward to seeing more from you folks - any plans to branch into Martian tripods??

madmorgan - look forward to your order. Branching out: well I have two other tanks Ammo/fuel supply tanks - but I need to get a few other prints to my caster before the mould can be made - as its pointless making a mould only 2/3 full. Additionally I have a couple of other models already completed - but I need to work out a way to get these manufactured at a reasonable cost. I am also working on another project that will be usable in AQ games...more on that when I hear from a colleague of mine as its a combined effort:) As far as Tripods are concerned I have indeed looked at them and they do represent a good challenge in both my 3d cad skills and also ensuring they are fairly easily manufactured - my concern would be price! What would people feel was a fair price... lets assume its a standard assault like tripod of a similar size to AQ ones - I know difficult question to answer as no one as seen a concept yet (any concept artists willing to provide some drawings?)... but need to understand what the market feels is a fair price. Regards andy

Regards andy The only comparison you have are the Black Hat Miniatures walkers which are £9 and a mix of Resin and metal. So it depends on what you can produce, I can see people paying £15 for a resin and metal model and maybe more. If you look at AQ stuff with the slaver tripod RRP being £19.50, the veteran tripod being £17.25 and the standard tripods being around £30 for three. I suppose it depends how much it is going to cost to produce a Resin tripod head with metal legs.

A Harvester tripod equivalent should be a good seller. We also need the never-released Gatherer tripod and Constructor engine (which may not be tripedal).

Cheers Guys appreciate the feedback - once I sell enough of the other models I will certainly consider a Tripod as I fancy sculpting one. Regards Andy
