I imagine they are 3D prototypes to make masters for casting. I doubt they'll be selling the files.

I think the German Army offers a great number of opportunities to expand the universe of AQMF. I think there are several avenues that the new developers could approach.
First, Germany was the first to really emphasize decentralized tactics which evolved into stosstruppen (Stormtroopers) which I think could offer a player a unique and more versatile infantry force that could go toe-to-toe with Martian forces. Perhaps better stealth rules, anti-tripod munitions, or first-strike capabilities. Take for example the use of the K-round by the Germans which had been designed to penetrate British tanks in the First World War.
Second, Germany had several "paper panzers" in development up to the end of the War, while the A7V is iconic I would love to see the use of upgraded MK 2 and 3 steam tanks, the Leitchtraktor, Grossetraktor, the K-Wagon, or even the Neubaufahrzeug tank.
Third, Germany DOMINATED THE AIR at several points in WWI with either the Fokker Eindecker or the D.VII! Or what about the Gotha Bomber! tripods would not stand a chance against the German Fliegertruppen!
Fourth, the artillery. Where do we begin? German 77s? their minenwerfers both heavy and light? what about railway guns? imagine a land ironclad with a paris gun on it? move over overseer, Gustav is in town!

Yes indeed - see my various posts on German TO&Es and OOBs as well as my posts on both Ships and Aircraft. I've worked up lots of stats from the various arms from Germany, to include Flamethrowers. I think the K round would probably be a +1 Pow type similar to Heavy and Assault infantry rifle bonuses. Limited to a few high point Strosstruppen units at about the same points as the HI & AI. Do you have any pictures of the various tanks you mention. For the planes I use Wings of War figures and others that I order from Shapeway as some of the Wings items are Very Expensive (ref Gotha). All of the WW1 15mm Germans Old Glory line work perfectly for AQMF as they are actually 18mm in height and OG was the original provider for AQMF USA and British figures. Are you a WW 1 re-enacter?? Seems so from the picture. I've several friends who also do that. I ask as the picture seems very 'clean' for a WW 1 trench

I ask as the picture seems very 'clean' for a WW 1 trench Yes I do reenact (WWI and WWII in fact) for some reason I love expensive hobbies! Yes, that trench is fairly clean but those dastardly Germans always had the better setup apart from us Marines. As far as the tanks you can google and get several images of them. I had posted on the FB page about some of the weapons as well as on here I think would be neat for the Germans to have. As David Pearce and several others pointed out, the fluff of AQMF accelerated several technological advances so it would be neat to see the Germans field some interesting tanks. Now I personally don't want to see a Mk 8 Maus super-heavy tackling an assault tripod (Maus would win) but I think there are some neat designs out there that could be used. Examples below. ![]() The VK7201 was actually a WW2 paper panzer that evolved into the MkVII Lowe super-heavy tank. Still would make for a base-line to develop a 1914-16 equivalent. LEts not even forget the German mounted several high-velocity anti-tank (tripod) guns on tracked chasis, why not include that in the game, think more German style Texas Longhorn.

Thanks. I like the clean lines of the VK201 and the Grosstraktor looks pretty awesome. Your first picture is which one ?? In any case, any idea what the weapons for each vehicle would be?? Fantastic stuff. Maybe S2G or Conqueror might actually make one or more of these? Good show!

Tackleberry, where do you do your reenacting? I do ACW and WWII and I have a bunch of friends who do WWI here in Pennsylvania.
