On the Old Forum, someone kindly linked me to some great US cavalry Models from the inter-war years that would have been great for AQMF US cavalry forces.
Does anyone have any recommendations for some good models for this?
I want to add cavalry troops to my Militia as they seem like a good fit, and the Rulebook has rules for them. Thoughts?

I've been watching the Blue Moon site for a month waiting for the "coming soon" WWI British cavalry to appear. Emailed them a few weeks ago re whether they would be lancers or armed with rifles but no response.
If they don't appear soon I'll order their Colonial era cavalry, either lancers or dragoons from the Sudan campaign in 1898 - probably dragoons which I can say have explosives, rather than having to make 12 or more explosive lances! I might paint one unit of lancers as Mounties though they got rid of the pith helmets by 1904 in the real world.

Yes that was me easy - Old Glory is producing some new cavalry figures for all four of their WW1 line through Blue Moon. Be sure to check out Blue Moon tab Colonial line (Northwest for Indian/Sikh/Ghurka Sudan for camel units as well). Also look at the True North lines, as they have a wonderful mix of Polish and other cavalry troops as well as weapon packs for modelling your own gun trucks, etc. I also use the 1941 cavalry from the Eureka miniatures line; they have tin helmets like the 1941 Marine line of theirs. They are mounted riflemen. Both of these companies make 18mm size figures. I often carry a USA penny at conventions as its 18mm in diameter, the same height as the AD minis (which Old Glory was making for AD btw). I suspect if the license for the AQMF line gets sold at some point we'll see all the various infantry figures again on the market from whoever is the new buyer.

I looked at the Eureka WWI British cavalry but they had only a couple of poses. I prefer the Blue Moon Sudan campaign cavalry figures.

We are in the process of making US, Prussian and British cavalry.
I'll get some pics up in the next week after coming back from Cancon.

That's good news. Are you working on a British command squad to go with your officer?
