This month at Slave 2 Gaming we are releasing more 18mm Alternate World War One figures for our game, Dark World War.
“The year was 1922 when the corrupted first appeared. Mutated and corrupted humans began to wander onto the fields. Tentacles instead of arms, mindlessly walking into the fire of Machine gun, but still smart enough to know how to use those same weapons against their opponent.”
Yes, Alternate World War One has taken on a stranger, Lovecraftian feel with Tentacles coming out from everywhere. With the idea to give the Hellspawn army a more ranged options for players that may want this feel.
This month we have 6 new releases, we start with the Corrupted Leader. This is a single multi part metal figure that retails for AU$3.50
The Corrupted Infantry are next and fit into the standard 15 figure unit with the Light Machine Gun upgrade included. These figures are also multi part metal figures and they retail for AU$25.50
The third unit to be released for the Corruption is the Light Machine Gun unit. This is a new type of unit for the Dark World War game, being a unit of only 9 figures (3 stands). These figures are also multi part metal figures and they retail for AU$20.
The next two units are both support units, being the Heavy Machine Gun unit and the Flamer units. Both are 6 figure (3 stand) packs of multi part metal figures and they both retail for AU$20
The final unit is the Corrupted Bile Spitters. These 8 foot long worms are much like a unit of human mortars, with the exception that they vomit up a corruptive ball of mucus that kills. A pack of 15 of these single part metal worms retails for AU$38
Wow! Some of the most distressing figures to date. For AQMF, I'd use these as some sort of new viral corruptions - much better than the Lobos for their use of prey weapons picked up on the battlefield. Somehow, I picture them as glowing green, but with the green gas bombs already in that niche, the pink is better. Dang, I forgot to download the rules - thank you for the reminder.
