Well, to maximize the yield of blood, the Martians would probably use something like a large Quisinart to liquify all the other tissues. Then squeeze out the good stuff. More or less analogous to a winepress.

I have left vampires, werewolves and zombies alone without regret for a long time.
Lobototons can be controlled many ways. A brain works through chemicals. The Martians may be able to remotely operate humans chemically. With the aid of Martian communication that resembles telepathy, they could do this easily.
To a Martian, human prey is not that different from a bison or steer, intelligence-wise.

Luckily I only primed my lobos after basing so it's not a huge deal to rebase with a mix of shooting and chopping versions if I decide to go with the new rules for them.

Actually, in the original Wells story, the unnamed artilleryman speculates that if the Martians conquer Earth they will eventually train humans to work as slaves and even turn some into auxiliary forces to help hunt down free humans. THAT idea I rather like and I've been dropping hints in my stories that the Martians might be working in that direction. The problem with that is that it will take quite a lot of time to actually come about. I think the original designers wanted them right away and took the cyborg approach that they did.  Where is this from? I don't think I've ever seen this comic version. |

I have not seen this comic either. What is the name of it? It has been a year since I’ve been on here and I still do not have my infantry painted. At this point I am still not sure how to base them! Grrrrrrrrr!🤪 it’s making me crazy! I guess I will have to decide by the time I get them completed. I still have some other things to paint so I can always hold out those for last.
