I thought that I'd share a link of a video of some pics of one of our early trial games of Dark World War.
It's not hugely informative, other than to show some cool scenery and figures, but I thought it might help some people struggling with motivation.

pardon my ignorance, but is this another Martian game with tripod or a world war one game?

World War One game that changed to demon invasion when the Brits set off mines under the German lines. Went a little deeper in their explosion, opening a gate for Demons to enter our world.

hummmmm! It is a very interesting premise. Does the world stop fighting each other and fight these demons or do they continue to fight each other? Do the demons come out and attack or are they on the defense?

Thanks guys, this is actually one of Mike Broadbents game boards, we were using it to play test the rules a while back.
I had forgotten that I had put this up.
In Dark World War, uneasy truces hold while humankind fight against the forces of hell. The German empire has been devastated by the opening of the Hell Gate and the Kaiser is missing.

Demons attack else where too. WW1 ends The long term plan was for a worldwide war, multiple Hell Gates open and the forces of nature create havoc all around the world. |

The Hell Spawn are definitely on the offensive, the Hell Gate was opened by the giant explosions of mines along the Messenes Ridge, and while the allied forces had enough forces to hold the forces from the pit, the Germans were devastated. |

I love the backstory for this game. Very innovative and Weird World War I is always cool in my book.
