I always try to support the bendy bits on the models. Even in a sand, a small pebble glued to the base with sand sprinkled on the glue over it will give that tripod leg the support it needs. And being very careful at gaming with friends that the models are carefully moved about.

I just wanted to mention that the legs are definitely something we're paying extra attention to - we want them to be easy to build, and as durable as possible. Making them multi-part and poseable was an original design goal, but may have to take a back seat to buildability and durability. The new design has a wider, predatory 'coiled' stance than the original's tiptoe-looking pose, so we're making sure the legs are as robust and easy to build as we can realistically get them.

It would be very nice if Abby Normal would continue to sell legs or better, replacement legs for the legacy tripods.
With cool-as-the-fuel, the old legs are hell-on-jets. With: "I have to pack my tripods, get to the store, unpack my tripods, play, pack up my tripods and go home, there is a little damage each step. Lots of steps and lots of models make it a big job to maintain the figures. Robust legs and stable figures are what I'd like.

I see where you're going with the new designs. Does this mean the 'old' Lobos will still be functional, still be just slicer and/or blaster? I'm on the fence about the new tripod bases. On the one hand, they'll blend in with any type of terrain on the table. On the other, some wonderful things have been done with the solid bases in the way of terrain. Also, the new bases will clash with the models on the older bases. Some time ago, I started doing 'mark' versions of the tripods - perhaps the newer machines could be a 'Mark II Assault Tripod' for example. Another thing - will the Ragers remain the same?? Do you plan to use any kind of buying bonuses, like coupons on box sets to be sent in for specials? Finally, will the civilian transportation figures (cars, buggy) be available? Thanks for answering these numerous questions

Where did this tripod come from? Did someone make it on a 3-D printer or is there a manufacturer, who is now making these?

Where did this tripod come from? Did someone make it on a 3-D printer or is there a manufacturer, who is now making these? It’s going to be the new version apparently made by the new owners. I’m not holding my breath on anything new coming out though

I don’t think those new owners are doing anything. You cannot post to their board and I sent an email and have yet to get a reply. I maintain it’s just a pipe dream. I’m happy I got that I have and can play the game with what I’ve got! They will be starting all over if they ever come out with this game again.
If you look at the other stuff they supposedly on it is the same thing. It is all just one dead end after another! just like you, I am not holding my breath.
