Mr Tanner asked for pix of my modified "Hail Mary" toss (perhaps "Hail Marsha" is better) beside one with the "standard toss" arm. I mounted gas magazines on each side of the hip. Then, I partially sawed through several segment joints for the arm, gently bent it, and re-glued it to give some more curvature. I mounted the arm upward instead of downward. The front legs are straight and the back leg is bent (as if preparing to spring forward) which rocks the hip backward and tips the front legs backward. Not yet painted--in progress.
I also modified one of the tripods with the black dust launcher to get a more candid appearance. I mounted the gun facing kind of upward 45 degrees, like riflemen carry theirs in alert condition, scanning for targets.
