I agree scott. New VC sappers were in a way much more dangerous as they tended to take more unreasonable chances - and it only takes one in an ammo bunker to ruin your day. That sounds uncomfortably like personal experience. I was in Nam in 1971-1972 and on the DMZ in March of 72 - the Year of the Rat (good S&T game by the way). My PTSD is directly a result of some of my experiences. Playing AQMF & these forum with you folks is one of the best therapy I've ever had. And I really enjoy the comrades I've met here and the fellowship of the game itself. Many a convention has seen me meeting folks from military backgrounds and I find peace in gaming. Thank you all for your kindness and good cheer!

As things become more complex, they approach being random (chaos) so there are so many possibilities, a straight random result becomes realistic.
It is possible to simply say "Pinned 3" is "Pinned 1" or make other mods by scenario. 4 games in, no worries yet.
