Just hearing all of your thoughts about the game makes me want to play even more! After the new year I am going to start making progress on my painting again!
Like I have said for years, it's easy to turn a friend into a gamer, but hard to turn a gamer into a friend. I'm very particular about who I play with for some of the above mentioned reasons. The games are just a reason to get together with my buddies. I laugh just as hard when I'm losing as I do when I win! Its all about having fun. Just like in real life, everything isn't fair. Most of the ACW, WWII, Frost grave and Battletech scenarios we play aren't always balanced. If someone is THAT competitive they are usually ruining the fun for the whole group. Just don't invite them anymore.
