I know the picture at the top of this board is from the AQMF rule book, but does any one know where the wagons, cars and dead horses came from? Which company sells them?

If I'm not mistaken they are Jordan Highway Miniatures in HO Scale. They make some beautiful stuff.

Yes, Jordan Miniatures. They are sold mostly through model railroad suppliers. And as a heads up they are not models for beginners.

terrance, I need to thank you for your reply. I will have to pass up on Jordan Miniatures for I know I am not a master builder. I even have problems putting the Paper Terrain houses together.

thanks for the hint Quendil. I like the look of the MPC soft plastic cars also. I ran across some of their Stutz Bearcats and found that they fit rather well to the scale. I even had to paint one white with a mounted Vickers MG in the back to pay homage to a 70's TV show "The Bearcats".

There are other mfrs beside Jordan and they have pretty simple assembly to get good results.
Watch out for the Design Preservation brand models. They are models of actual structures. They are beautiful, but expensive and have details that are fragile for the handling that game pieces get.
