Didn't get time to write much down but took some photos. I will try and remember what happened. The Martian won the initiative nearly every turn. They always charged in for the attack. The 1st Turn the Martian moved forward. The humans moved forward their armoured cars and cavalry. 2nd Turn. Martian moved forward and destroyed a Defiant armoured car. Humans held ground and returned fire doing nothing. Turn 3- All move. Martians manage to destroy a spectre armoured car but morale holds. In return the spectre armoured cars cause a weapons hit on the scout tripod Turn 4. Martians go first. Assault tripod destroys some cavalry. Other assault tripod destroys Defiant cars. Scout tripod fire but Martian fail roll and the shot goes wild and destroys the assault tripod and the blast also takes out the two Spectre armoured cars and an MG stand. The scout takes some damage from the Bedouin fire. Turn 5. Humans win and go all out for the scout tripod causing another armour damage. Spectre armoured cars hide from the assault tripod Martians turn 5 they move and fire. Scout again misfires and destroys the other assault tripod. Turn 6. Bedouin mass fire destroys the Scout

I really expected the Martians to destroy the Bedouin and British and for the first few turns it looked like it. The misfire from the Scout tripod caused all the damage, if they had retreated him it would have been a different story.

Nice! Some time in the future I plan on adding figs for North Africa and India, so it is nice to get some info on how they fare against the Martians.

Looks like that Scout pilot needs some remedial work on targeting. OOPS!! Make that needed... WIth friends like him, who needed enemies?

I continue to delight at how a small fight has big fun.

Yes, I love the smaller scale fights.
I am surprised the Martian kept using the scout to fire instead of using it as a bullet sponge and to rout broken units.
How did the Cavalry do? Nothing?

Yes they should have left the scout but our game tend to be more fun and less strategic . The cavalry never really got to do much apart from fry
