We toyed with the idea of a crane on the LIC, as well as stowable ramps underneath. I like the idea that the Wheelers can try for "rapid deployment", by jumping off the back... would need a special rule!

A crane would be a good addition, as would "Ski-ramps for the Wheelie tanks.
Where are the Wicket Glue dispensers?

Boy, that monster should make some tentacles shake. I take it that the MGs are remote controlled. I smell a scenario coming up with this beasty teaching the Martians the meaning of fear. btw - what name did you give it?? May I humbly suggest something based on Sir Adrian Carten de Wiart. Read his bio on wiki - I think you'll find he fits the bill.

Looking good! And of course this is named after JOHN Churchill, the first Duke of Marlborough, not that young whippersnapper, Winston, right?

What a gorgeous looking Landship. Love the colors and how intimidating it looks on the field! Excellent work.

Love it! I take it the MGs only need one crew member to fire. Guess the belt feeds from the interior of the ship?? Can't wait to see this thing kick some Martian a..
I'm curious as how you stat out the two main weapons - that Tesla must be very powerful and the main gun as well. Look forward to the stats on this monster!

I am somewhat biased about this little beauty, having written the backstory for it (https://conquerormodels.com/shop/15mm-sci-fi/ironclad-landship).
This year I am making a concerted effort to game more, and with AQ making a comeback, my models need finishing. Look out for HMLS Primrose Hill, under the command of Commodore Hornblower in the near future...

I seem to recall from the "Hornblower Companion" that Horatio's grandson commanded a dreadnought at Jutland, so in this timeline it's entirely reasonable to see him commanding a land ironclad!

You are right Scott... there's a family tree in it that I used to get the relationship right. Part of my Hornblower collection, as I'm a bit of a fan.

One of my favorite reads as a teenager. They also made a series of films based on the him, following his start (Ensign Hornblower) through his career. Wonderful stuff - well named sir!
