Another latest work was focusing on the coal engine on the steam tank itself. Since I have bought some alternate weapons, only few parts of the kit that I have used. So the left over parts, I used them for upgrading the engine. It's a fiction. The left over parts were platform stands (the feet), I did not know what to do with them. Then I looked at the large space on the coal engine at the steam tank and I put one left over part (the foot) into it...hey...that's gotta be good for new engine! I looked up an idea for Diesel. The fact diesel was invented by a German Scientist Rudolph Diesel in 1892. First time diesel was shown in public during the exhibition in Paris 1900. So this diesel engine can give a good performance in speed while the steam tank carrying a heavy weight weapon.

Excellent background work on the diesel engine - inspiring modeling as well. The diesel engine would be available for most factions by the time of the 1908 invasion I would think. Ty

Except steam engines are so much cooler Incredibly nice modelling! Do you have your own 3D printer?

G'Day Scott and MadMorgan, Thank you for the feedbacks. No I do not have a 3D printer. I wish I could have a skill in 3D. For the diesel parts, actually they are from the left-over bits from the alternate weapons that I bought from Zinge Industries. So there were few left over on the sprue. Rather than throwing them away, I had to think what the best so they could be useful. Just like a puzzle to me. Zinge Industries has done a great product and I really do like the materials of resin they use. Fictionally when it comes the incoming Overseer tripod, I thought it's the best for human forces to upgrade their performance in weapon and the tank. So yes, Diesel will give at least a speed for the tanks to go to the battle when the troops need them desperately.

I looked over the Zinge site. They seem to have some cool stuff, including material than can replace tentacles and avoid tentacle droop.
I am curious: would the artillery on a towed carriage fit in scale with AQMF?

I am curious: would the artillery on a towed carriage fit in scale with AQMF? It's kinda of gambling, Hardlec. Just like the first time I bought only a small number of item from Zinge (Weapons) before I bought more for example the weapons that would be fitted on tank's top platform (Just in case it did not work out well) . But then It fitted well but need a little modification work on the top platform of the tank (if you could see my posting on Work in Progress - Working on my Commonwealth BEF tank..). Give it a try, Hardlec.
