rainnstudios.com/The link above is for a product called TerraTiles. It looks interesting; all three sets are about $150.00 The Wastelands and Tundra set includes a cavern set that can integrate into a surface set. I am most interested in folks' opinions.

Nice looking products, could even obviate 3D terrain items or augment them. The 9 inch tiles will not require many to cover most playing areas.

Wow really nice stuff. I calculate you need 5.33 hexes x 8 hexes for a 4x6' table area. Good stuff - combine with Scott paper terrain, just add figures and rock!! I am really digging this arrangement. And for transport to local store/game club - even easier than the styrofoam I'd planned. Sweet!

Oh No! Another thing to tempt my wallet to open. Those look really nice. At first glance I was reminded of the original Mighty Empires game from GW (the cardboard hexes, not the plastic ones of the second release). But these tiles are larger and much better detailed.

I believe that with a $9.00 flat rate shipping, this is a good addition to my idea of an all paper terrain table.

Yes, you could collect the full sets over time and, combined with the Paper Terrain, have first rate looking 'table' in no time.

BAD NEWS - It appears that RAINN Studios has discontinued the TerrainTiles and liquidated practically all of the stock. Only tundra and wastelands, along with accessories (walls, trees, etc) remain.
Too bad. Nice concept. Nicely produced. Must not have been the moneymaker that they projected.

I contacted RAINN studios.
They have no immediate plans to re-start production. If they do, it will be under the new company Infinite Black.

Good going boxholder & great news - we should probably keep Infinite Black on file as a vendor once there up and running
