Can't say enough about this excellent workup. Rereading it almost a year later makes for a great story and display. Thanks. Man-O - man. It's been that long? I need to get to work.

" Where did the boat come from? " Looks scratch build to me. Looks real good too! Thanks! Modified Lindberg models. The original owner developed a diorama called Battle of Foss Landing that featured both ships.

Where did the boat come from? The navy ship is a modified Lindberg model minesweeper. I used the turrets, bridge, and smoke stack from the land ironclad. The river boat is also from Lindberg. The original idea came from the original owner AQMF.

The new owner has said that the first edition minis will not become obsolete. But I did see where each lobo team will have both slicer and blaster ability in the new rule set. Time to rebase!

OK, as I am the newbie here, (read dummy) tell me about those bases. I have yet to finish painting mine and I think I like that square base much better. What are the dimensions of those infantry bases? thanks in advance 30mm x50mm Litko or Flames of War medium base for infantry type units.

Never did get to see it - not sure why wasn't available on this side of the pond. Anyone in the States know where I might find it? Netflix

I ordered some under dwellers figures. When the new style tripods are available I like to consider using them as alien infantry for a 1950's time frame battles using the AQMF rule set to pit against Flames of War Easy 8 Shermans, Chaffee's and Pershings. 50's B-movie science fiction movie action.

I think the only thing I don't like about the new tripod is the 'ring' base for it. I know the big disk base can be awkward, but it gives you a place to record the hits on the tripods and it also has some nice modeling possibilities. The bases of my tripods have burned marks on the ground from heat rays, skeletonized heat ray victims, wrecked wagons and field guns, etc. Not a biggie, but something to consider. Agreed. The damage tokens add to the game in a visually pleasing way. Also the information the tokens convey is readily apparent to all players.

I didn't purchase a flame tank but I so wished that the tower, flame turret, and gun turrets were sold separately as bunker toppers.
