My why was interest in the game itself and the community. All Quiet on the Martian Front has potential and it did not get its fair share of time in the consciousness of many in the hobby. I watched the kickstarter with great interest but did not back due to other projects sapping my funds at the time. The community for this game has been great so far and I'd like to provide support for groups while getting product back out in the market.
As to games, well, I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the hobby industry for many years. I have played most of the miniature games that have been in circulation in the last 20 years or so (my current three besides AQOTMF are X-Wing, Infinity, and Malifaux). I cut my teeth as it were, on GW like many did, in the late 80's early 90's. I have regularly played RGP's too (looking to jump into 5E D&D with a Revenloft campaign, if I ever have the time). I have played CCG's and board games too (I actually have a very small board game company with my childhood friends and we have published a game and are working on more).
All Quiet on the Martian Front will be a chance for Ironclad Games (and you in the community) to resurrect and continue a fun game that died too soon. I'd really like to see where we can go with this and build it up to where I think it should be - a well respected miniatures line with a solid rules set. We will want your help, as we have said, to guide us in making this the game that you want to play with your friends.
I hope that gives some insight into me, please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks, -Joe

anyone else think that ironclad games is really selling snake oil? "i read it on the internet it must be true" i quote Mrs Eviljimsmonkey! You are entitled to your opinion, but we are giving this a genuine go, we hope to build this game up! It is slow right now but we are the new owners of All Quiet on the Martian Front. The bank and the lawyers are dealing with creditors and who gets what from our purchase. I cannot wait to start giving updates and getting all of the inventory to see what we have and what we need to produce. The rules need tweaking too and I have been looking to the community for highlighting the glaring issues. We should have some announcements before and a meet and greet at GenCon 2016. Keep the comments coming! -Joe

Thank you all for your comments and questions, please keep them coming.
I will try to make DieCon, though I'm not sure if I will have more information at that time. Once everything is finalized and we have secured the inventory, I will make an announcement. Also I will try to schedule a meet and greet at GenCon so that at least we can all touch base with each other. Hopefully I might be able to bring a few things, assuming the deal is done by then.

I was aware of Ironclad Games in BC, they make Sins of the Solar Empire (I think). They are not affiliated with us and our business is registered in Missouri, so we are fine with the name. We have some initial marketing and sales plans going into place, so hopefully we'll see some new adopters to the game.

Hi Joe! Welcome! And thank you for the information! I'm sure you will be getting a LOT of questions here! So I'll get a few in right now Do you have any idea of the time frame for all of this? I know legal stuff can take a long time. Where will you be located? So you are a new company? Do you have any other product lines? I guess that's enough for now Scott Hi Scott! We are moving forward with the purchase of the assets as the new owners. There is much to be done legally, as you said, but that is all currently in the other professional's hands that are involved. Once the dust has settled, I'll be sure to send out updates! Ironclad Games is based out of St. Louis, Mo. We are a new company and this will be our initial product line. Everyone involved with Ironclad Games is an industry vet and we have designed, produced, and sold games and supplies in the industry for years. We feel confident that we can breathe new life into All Quiet on the Martian Front (otherwise we not have pursued it so). -Joe

Hello Everyone, I'm Joe from Ironclad Games. We are in the process of acquiring all of All Quiet on the Martian Front's product and assets. We are a new company, working on launching our website soon and I will post a link once it is up an running. As posted on Dakkadakka, we don't have a lot of information to give just yet, but it is forthcoming, once the sale is finalized. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. If you plan to attend GenCon 2016, I will be there and will attempt a meet and greet, so please let me know if you'd like to interact with me (we are too late for a booth or organized event, but I'll make time for contact).
I have a copy of the rulebook and have noticed and seen some of the criticism in regards to how the game plays. Initially we will be taking full stock of what product is available and what is missing. We will do our best to get this great game back in circulation and into the hobby market. I believe that feedback is important, so please feel free to contact me on these forums and soon through our website with ideas, concerns, shout-outs, etc.
Thanks, -Joe
