I have been modeling/ painting with the Star Trek marathon on BBC America for back ground entertainment and noted no recent comments from the Quen-meister.

The rumours go that he was kidnapped by the Martians...
They have asked us to hand over all the M&M's worldwide!
They are planning to do tests on him if we don't pay up...

What about all of the other products of M&M MARS corporation?? Like MARS bars? Why settle for just M&Ms?
Tests? Like anal probes? Wait, wait!! We call them colonoscopies. Never mind...

I'd like to propose that we run some scenarios called "finding Quendil!"

I'm 'game'! Professor Quendil has been missing for weeks. Last seen whilst investigating some downed Scout tripods in PA, he is famed for his communications skills and ability to unify divergent minds in all sorts of fields. His loss is dearly felt and several units of militia as well as a small detachment of recon patrols are sent to search for him. What the find is alarming and important! Thus begins 'Operation Finding Quendil! Okay there is a start on the story line campaign. Where it leads is up to you all. I could be strange (mad?) and do some Venusian underground thing or even Selenites, not to mention Morlocks (!), but I suspect we'll have fun what ever folks come up with.
I do hope he's okay really. A serious blow to our community if not.

I agree, hope all is OK with the Professor.
Thanks for the idea madmorgan, I think I'll start discussions with my gaming mates and see what we can come up with.

Isn't he that guy that wears a red-striped shirt and hat? Many people are already engaged in searching.

I have a mailing address and suppose I could call him based on that. Need to check to see if I've an email post. Its possible he's had some sort of computer failure I guess, but would the site still be up without him doing maintenance?? Will pursue if we've not heard from him by this weekend.

Speaking of 'missing' forum members, I've continued to email Pz3 intermittently but there's been no response. No idea what happened to him; he was ready to start printing some replacement treads for BEF carriers and tanks for me and had a nice CAD design for a 'not Goliath' before he went silent in March.
