Quick note - all 'Native' Troops are a - 1 on rolled morale checks. You probably should include that under 'Special' for the given units. Example Native Cavalry 3 elements @25 (+10 for Explosives) Speed Defense Armor Special: (add - 1 Morale) And add to the rifle line Explosives +1 Power Assaults for Dynamite. This will give the cavalry some offensive hope against most tripods/drones. Their rifles will be okay against some targets (lobos, drones maybe). I haven't even gotten that far yet WRT to each unit's rules. if I had a big batch of help, I could do that -- as it would just be an additional data field on the select option that I would have to parse -- and then add it to the printout. Morgan, what did you mean when you said this: "btw the final tally based on IG website is $164 - those template sets come in at $20 each (includes a bunch of tokens too). And they're out of stock - which means you really did well. " ?? All of the stuff I'm getting is from the kickstarter that some guy bought heavily into but never assembled a damn thing...

Update: Martian List has the Speed/Defense/Armor listed on the output...
Anyone want to help me piece the other stats for the other armies into the spreadsheet that I'm missing?

Excellent stuff. Thanks! I agree with Madmorgan; could you break down the US and BEF units. I like to field under-strength units. I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.... I don't have any models yet (and I've yet to play a game) so I'm a real n00b - I'm awaiting a big ass lot I bought from someone to arrive from across the pond (I'm US based).... A US Armored Infantry unit of 3 stands, or units is 65 pts. I want to field an under strength unit of 2 stands. It shouldn't cost 65 pts. Dividing 65 by three you get 21.6666. Let's round that to 22pts per stand so a 2 stand unit should cost 44 pts.

Where in the rulebook are you allowed to run under-strength platoons? If you can point me to that rule, I'll add in additional options for those respective units you folks want to under-strength.

Ah, there is no rule for that. It's just something I like to do. I've been gaming for over 40 years and I reckon the rules are there to guide you not keep you from having fun. I also feel that in the real world very few units are at full strength. I much prefer scenarios to tournaments.

Which items do you want to break down to understength groups? If you can provide me with a list, I'll do the entries but I'll add "[Understrength]" to the description. Jason

Here is a list of USA singles points - I'll get to the Brits later. Mk III @75; Mk II @55; Mk IIMA @75 w/HMGs @85; Inf @10 Forlorn Hopes at full price; HMG @15; FA gun @30; HFG @ 55; Armored Inf @25; Marine @25 (based on 3 not 6 elements = inf sqd.); AIC @40; RR @15; Cav @ 15 / 20 with explosives; US AC @45; TX MCycle @10; TX Longhorn @90; TX Tank @55; Marine Sniper @15; Marine HMG @15.
This should get you set up. Note all numbers are rounded to the nearest 5 amount, as some units are actually done as 'savings' for 3 elements (example HMG Squad for 40 but would be 15 each separately).

btw it takes 2 Squads of Armor Infantry to 'fill' an AIC platoon. The AIC carries 10 men and that the amount of 2 squads AInf (30 men). If you 65/3 you should round up to 25 per element just to make it easier to calculate for gaming purposes. And yes, the rules were supposed to be a guide. A further note - if you total my idea on the Mk III/AIC/AInf unit, it cost 180 points per unit for a total mixed platoon of 540 points (180 x 3). If you built the same amount of figures in the 'standard' platoon format it costs you less points - Mk III platoon @225 + AIC platoon @120 + (2) Armored Infantry @130 = 475 points for the same amount of figures. The only real advantage to this mixed unit is that you can have a different approach to any battle with a good impact from the mixed unit. By that I mean, you could hold several of these in reserve for flanking attacks later in the game. A combination of this technique would see a 'normal' advance @475 to front up the Martians, backed by Longhorns or MA, and then flanking them with two @180 mixed units.

Ok, I think I have everything entered. Based on what you select the arsenal will be populated as well. Since there are things like "2x Heavy Heat Ray" and "Heavy Heat Ray" the items will appear on the arsenal twice since they are unique items. Since this is all code based (it's not being pulled from a database) that is the reason why there are duplicates. I don't think this will really be an issue since it's just replicated data...
let me know if you folks find any bugs.

Madmorgan, I'm still learning the game so "AIC" isn't clicking yet (as you'll see below) Items I need clear names on:
