The original dazzle pattern "camo." How many are there? And which ones are looking at you?

Really cool shot - hmmm maybe the Martians will start using those for their Lobototons, Drones, and Scorpion Drones (melee types only). A wave of Lobos and drone/scorpions sweeping in in numbers close batched being a -2 to be hit due to the dazzle!

"Nose art" candidates for Land Ironclads. With apologies to DISTRICT 9, but when these are reduced, the aliens look a lot like tripods.

The primary function of Dazzle Pattern:
It looks bada$$.
Zebras, tigers, and diamondbacks all take advantage of the vision of their predators or prey. Still, the geometric patterns do work for the creatures of Earth.
The trick to geometric patterns is to cover everything in color A, then cut out and apply Masking material in geometric shapes, then painting color B. Masking tape is OK for this, frisket is better if you can find it.

Or masking with some stuff called PARAFILM. It is a very flexible rubbery material that can be cut for masking. Sticks pretty well, comes off cleanly. Usually does not pull up the color underneath.

I used to use this in the laboratory to cover test tubes, flasks or beakers that did not have stoppers. Great stuff. Where do you find it? I have not seen it available anywhere since I no longer have access to lab equipment suppliers.

There are lab supply shops around. I think Walters may have it buried in their catalog. My last catalog from MicroMark Tools had some in it. VWR Scientific and Next Day Science advertise having it.
Amazon has it (be shocked if they didn't) and some places advertise it on eBay.

Parafilm looks like a good way to seal paint jars.
