I would like to request some help from someone who is very knowledgeable about this game. We have many pictures (over 50) from the Robot Peanut Studio after it was locked up (after filing for bankruptcy). I need some help figuring out what is there based on the photos. Please shoot me a PM if you think you can help out. I have sent you a PM about the forum and how we can help. You could setup you own photo gallery here aqmf.freeforums.net/board/21/member-photo-galleries and we can comment on the pictures to let you know what them are. There is a sticky on how to add pictures. Thanks

Steve, All of us here thank you and Joe for taking the time to make some posts. It's a huge breath of fresh air after the almost total communications black-out during the last year of Robot Peanut Studio. All of us here are willing to help out however we can to make the new venture a success. Scott I agree completely with Scott on this issue

Please shoot me a PM if you think you can help out. Most people can help you. I know the units and boxes well, but I think a lot of us can say so. Your best source may be Clive Dudley on Facebook. He's got a larger collection than anyone I've seen. If you need NDAs or something, I can whip one up pretty quickly (will work for promise of future product). You can find me on Facebook as well, Timothy Roller (picture of me being bitten by my cat). This is literally some of the most exciting news I've seen in gaming in a while. This is truly a fantastic game setting. With some rules tweaks and solid people making sensible and reasonable promises with real and regular info behind them, it can get the launch it really deserves!

Steve/Joe,
First off, let me say Thank You for doing this! My question relates to yourselves: Why did you decide to purchase Martian Front? What different sorts of games have you played?
Just curious, Nick

My why was interest in the game itself and the community. All Quiet on the Martian Front has potential and it did not get its fair share of time in the consciousness of many in the hobby. I watched the kickstarter with great interest but did not back due to other projects sapping my funds at the time. The community for this game has been great so far and I'd like to provide support for groups while getting product back out in the market.
As to games, well, I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the hobby industry for many years. I have played most of the miniature games that have been in circulation in the last 20 years or so (my current three besides AQOTMF are X-Wing, Infinity, and Malifaux). I cut my teeth as it were, on GW like many did, in the late 80's early 90's. I have regularly played RGP's too (looking to jump into 5E D&D with a Revenloft campaign, if I ever have the time). I have played CCG's and board games too (I actually have a very small board game company with my childhood friends and we have published a game and are working on more).
All Quiet on the Martian Front will be a chance for Ironclad Games (and you in the community) to resurrect and continue a fun game that died too soon. I'd really like to see where we can go with this and build it up to where I think it should be - a well respected miniatures line with a solid rules set. We will want your help, as we have said, to guide us in making this the game that you want to play with your friends.
I hope that gives some insight into me, please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks, -Joe

I was intrigued by AQOTMF for a different reason. I am the owner of Miniature Market and I have been involved in the gaming world for over 10 years. Over that time I have seen plenty of games come and go. Each time a game goes out of business we tried to figure out why so we could better forecast when additional closeout opportunities were on the horizon. I learned about All Quiet on the Martian Front after it has already collapsed. After looking over all of the data (kickstarter, molds, rulebook, etc) I could see that there is a lot of potential for this game.
I personally play Flames of War and I could immediately draw a comparison between the two. One of the most expensive parts of the manufacturing process (for FOW and AQONTMF) is sculpting and designing the molds used to create the models. Since most of that work was done it seemed like the perfect fit to try to revive and grow this game.
I am not going to come out and promise to release a ton of new products and make all of the existing ones readily available again (although that is what everyone wants me to say). Instead, I am going to take stock of everything and decide what is the most fiscally responsible approach to take in regard to this game.
I am a business man first and a gamer second. My risk in the venture is very low and I believe the reward is very high. Joe has worked with me for many years and is the most knowledgeable gamer I've ever worked with. I believe he is the perfect person to run this company and he will be the main contact for all questions about this game.
Unlike other game manufacturers I believe that being open and honest with players/customers is the only way to go.
Today we sent the check to the bank for this purchase. We hope to have ownership and possession of all products in the next few weeks. Updates will be coming soon ...
Steve

I've bought from Miniature Market on several occasions and have always found great service and prices! My in-laws live in the St Louis area and we come through a couple times a year. I look forward to stopping in at a later date to see what you guys do with AQMF. Awesome news! Burt

Haha, miniatures market is the only online game seller I buy from, other than direct manufacturers. This is a huge relief to hear, and exactly the kind of thing I hoped to see. Less pipe dreams, more community engagement, hopefully a rules committee a la Mantic to keep things balanced, and opportunity for future growth. I'm happy to throw my support in on such an attempt.

I am no businessman. I am a pie-in-the-sky dreamer.
I do respect businessmen and the choices they have to make.

Welcome news from both the hobby and business ends of AQ lives again. I look forward to you both having the greatest success with our support and (importantly) adding more players to AQ over time. I'll do my best to promote your product lines and will demo games as much as possible once my health improves. Quplah! Success!

Thank you Joe and Steve.
Something I've heard before is that a good composition for a 2 person team is "Kirk/Spock"- one true believer go-getter, and one cool analytic type. Sound like what you guys have here!
Good luck!
