Okay, I'm getting confused on the scale thing. I believed AD figures were 18mm scale, same as the Old Glory original lines who manufactored them. At this point I'm actually building 3 different scale (4 if you count my 3mm demo game) figures; AD 18s, mixed vendor 15s and mixed vendors 1/72 (22mm). I am sorry if I've caused anyone a 'loss' with my rantings on various figure lines. I'll henceforth be very muted on the scale of the figure matching AD. If IG were wise they would start to 'downsize' to 15mm as well - less metal required and more compatiable to numerous lines of figures. Here's hoping that whatever scale your Humans are, they fight well.

I just noticed Blue Moon sells 8 LMG figures with their HMG/LMG WWI British pack. They might do as British Assault infantry - the guns are certainly heavy duty, and I have 2 spare Blue Moon Sergeants to make a 10 man unit. They don't have gas masks but aren't gas proof like US armored infantry despite the high points cost.

Hold on loyalist - note that the Infantry packs have 4 ammo carriers for the LMG figures. One of the reasons I bought a second Infantry pack so that all my LMG guys have an ammo assistant. As both figures are advancing, it works out great. The additional Infantry is just more gravy for my state militia units. With 8 LMG there are a lot of configurations you can do. Two platoons each of a command squad with LMG and 3 squads with each having LMG. Likewise, 2 LMG squads of 16 figures. A MG Platoon with two LMG & two MG in a command squad: Officer, 2 Sergeants, 2 Aides (figures carrying ammo box from artillery crews would work) for a 3 element 15 man squad and two squads each of 3 LMG & 3 MG each - 3 LMG gunners + 3 ammo bearers, 3 MG gunners + 6 other crew for a 3 element 15 man squad. Or mix 1 LMG team & 1 MG team into each Infantry squad and the same for each platoons command squad: HQ: Officer, 2 Sergeants, 2 Aides (ammo crate), 1 LMG team & 1 MG team = 2 elements of 10 men @ 45 points and 3 squads each: Officer, Sergeant, 1 LMG team, 1 MG team, 8 Riflemen 3 elements @40 points. As you can see , it makes them very flexible to have 8 teams of both. A straight up 1 LMG & 1 MG team being 5 men plus 10 riflemen for a 15 man squad.

Strange that there were no figures carrying ammo packs in my pack of Advancing WWI British. In the British Command pack there were 4 standing figures carrying a round cross-section bag or container. It could be painted as a doctor's bag or as an ammo container, though all ammo containers I've seen have been rectangular cross-section boxes. I don't think I'll order this pack right away as I have plenty of AQ HMG teams. I hope IG releases British Assault infantry figures in the near future, or S2G produces suitable alternative figs.

Ah ok I'll double check my packs for Brits - the fellows need only have an ammo can or a round Lewis-like drum so those might work

I'm hoping to get some black & white pics up of the British in the next few days, bloody work keeps calling me in & I can't get them up.

Hmmm, I was speaking of Old Glory Brits, not S2G figures. In any case, my research shows that the BR 301 pack has 4 figures advancing with an ammo can in hand. Put those on a stand next to the Lewis gunner advancing from the MG pack and you're in business for RF 2!

The first 6 poses are done for the British Highlander's, I am hoping for a flame unit (2 figures) as well before they go on sale, so they are still a little way off.
The Prussians will also be getting a unit of assault units, was thinking to call them Bavarian something (need to find a good unit name). They'll be a similar set up in poses & upgrades.
There are a few more thoughts for them, along some of Morgan's ideas, but we'll have to wait & see.
Not sure whether to try to release them before the Tank upgrades that are coming.

I'd buy the Highlanders without the flame unit as there are no AQ rules for one.Can you post pics of the first 6 poses?

These pics probably don't do them justice, but they are just some quick ones that I put together: Highlanders group Highlanders Individual

Very nice sculpts Drew. As per our discussion a couple of months ago I hope they're taller than the regular Dark WWI British figures to be a better match to the IG BEF figures, which are significantly taller than the American troops.
It's hard to tell for sure but in relation to the bases (which I'm guessing are 20mm deep) they look taller.
