True, easier to kill but a potential 40 inch move in one game turn is an interesting feature. And they're so cute. Like a puppy tripod.

I thought the max would be 30inches. I don't have the rule book handy but i thought movement was 10.If you use a Command token then the first movement action is doubled to 20, then in the second movement phase it moves another 10 .That makes 30. I think i'm correct in this ,but i could be wrong.

I thought you couldn't move further than your full potential in a turn? Although doubling your move in phase one to 20" you couldn't move in the 2nd, Is it per phase then?

No. With the Command-Point you omly doubling first Movephase. The second Movephase is with its normal 10" Yesterday i played two Games. In both we just take 700 pts per Side. It was for testing a scenario to play it on a demotable at n convention. We used one Assaultpod and two Scouts without Targeters. Others where a Slaver with some lobos and my three Hoverdrones. The Scoutpods speed is incredible. But one of them is enough. For the Points better played an Grenadier or something else... PS: In both Games the US ploppt my Pods away Lucky Dice-Rolling. I missed a bit more Power. MK III fires 18 bullets and just costs 225pts. My Assaultpod fires 1! times Sweep makes more but u have du get closer

10 inch + 10 with order token, then shoot, then 10 inch + 10 with another order token.
Is there a restriction on use of order token in second movement phase?

I thought each tank fired 3 times ,multiplied by 3 tanks in a unit . Shouldn't it be 9 shots instead of 18? You might mean the MKIII infantry support tank ,but that only fires a maximum of 12 times ,and you have them individually not in units of three. I

Maybe 4 inch guns for 9 shots and HMGs for 9 shots? But you can't fire HMGs and the main gun at the same time.

Well, we'll probably have to scratch build a Dominator to have those wonderful missles, but I always include at least one Scout 'T' in any pod that has Grenadiers and/or Shock drones unless its a special scenario. This is especially important if fighting the Brits with their 5 defense. Its important to note that the Targeter only has a range of 30". Much better to fire with a 4 to hit vs a 7 to hit without a target being painted - the bonus for the Dominator missiles makes for an awesome standoff range as long as the Scout is within 30" of the target. Its a shame we probably won't ever know what a "sneak" drone is... hmmm time to think on that. Blips for Martians egads!
