Do you use a vacuum chamber? My resin casts always look like Swiss cheese.

No I dont, I knock the mould around a bit until there are no bubbles coming up, plus I drag a small toothpick or wire through the mould to make sure the resin has reached all the areas

Gun barrels and smokestacks are no big problem. Use a small candle to carefully heat a section of sprue just til it gets to be like taffy. Then S-T-R-E-T-C-H it. With a bit of practice, you can make many diameters that can be cut to length.

Mold making material has never been my worry. Hobby Lobby carries Alumilite although I prefer Smooth-On. My problem has always been the resin. Trying to find a resin I can mix in small batches has always been my problem. Of course I measure resin with an eye dropper.

Love the turreted tanks indeed, with a good eye on table (3 guns, any angle). Suggest the name "Wiart". Look him up on wiki - Sir Adrian Carten de Wiart.

Smooth-on is a good source of Silicon and resin. They sell on-line and some FLGS also carry their product. Aluminite is available at hobby lobby (qv) and is easily available to many in the US.
I want STL files so I can make they on my 3D printer. (Sorry.)
