Your finale scene leaves out the "goresplattered" description btw (lol).

Yes indeed, a cinematic oversight on my part. Hence, add:
After emerging from the dust and smoke, the gore splattered hero pats down his pockets trying to find a dry match and cigar while surveying the wrecked Harvester. Finds one, lights the cheroot and says....

Gads, I've used those 'tubes' with repainting for my old D&D games back awhile. Alas, all my gaming buddies moved off, married, and are playing a much better game of life with wife & kid(s). But, I still have the figures. Lobgators - a 'natural' for the bayou, I can see a few hippos and gorillas from zoos, but suspect the gators might be the more viable selection. Biggest problem I have will all lobototons (especially the human ones) is that they are potential food sources first and its wasteful to put controlls in them, then have to process them again to remove the metal from dead ones for food. Far better to make some humanstyle bipedal drones to do the same job. As these could be very expendable, Marvin could use local metals vs their limited Martian metals. Much more efficient.

Moo Grunt Roar Howl

Think of all the the sound effects.
(my favorite is still the harsh creaking of a tripod going down)
