G’day once again from the Slave Dungeon, This month sees a start of a whole bunch of new Dark World War product coming out. To start this off, we see the release of the basics for the American Expeditionary Force. We’ve had the American Cavalry out for some time and have been slowly building the other 3 forces up into workable armies, now its time to expand this into the Basic units that are needed to play a United States force in the Dark World War. Once again, these figures have been beautifully sculpted by the very talented Mike Broadbent. The first new release is the American Expeditionary Force Infantry pack. These come as a pack of 15 figures, including the Unit Sergeant, a Light Machine Gun and two Grenadiers. This pack retails for AU$20. The next pack that we see are the AEF Heavy Machine Gun Unit, a pack of 3 multi part figures that includes the nice idea of the ammo belt actually fitting into the gun. This pack also sells for AU$20. The Third pack is the AEF Mortar Unit, which like the Heavy Machine Gun is also a pack of 3 multi part figures. This pack sells for AU$20. The final pack is the single Junior Officer figure, the backbone of the Infantry Company in the Dark World War game, allowing orders to be given to any unit within it zone of control. This pack sells for AU$2. All these figures can be found in both the ‘New Stuff’ and ‘Dark World War AEF’ sections of the Slave 2 Gaming site. Is the 3 men to a stand how the basing is going to work in Dark World War?

Is the 3 men to a stand how the basing is going to work in Dark World War? Yes, unless players find that they aren't happy with it

Really nice! Now I've got another game to stock up for! One question regarding the mortar teams. I can't make out what they are holding. Is the kneeling one got a round and the standing one binoculars?? If you could post those unpainted as well, it would be clearer. One question on the squad - which figure has the light machine gun? Again, just posting an unpainted version would clear it up for these old eyes. Your camo scheme works so well, I can't tell lol.

Sorry for not getting back straight away, some big things happening over here. Hope these pics aren't too bad, I always find it hard to photograph the unpainted figures because they are so reflective of light.
Here's the Mortar team crew, the man standing is holding the mortar. Here's the LMG, slightly different from the other armies

Nice work on the figures.
FWIW: It might be worth giving them a quick shot of light gray primer to kill the shine and empahsize the shadows.

A lot of people give unpainted figures a thin black wash to show details and stop being too shiny

LoL. Scared is the term I'd use for the humans in your new game!
I really like the Gatling gun style machine guns. Use HMG stats with British tri-barrel rules for overheating, jams, etc. Good stuff. (ref rules on Wosley tank trigun in British supplement on this forum)
