I stumbled across this: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yves_Le_PrieurMsr. Le Prieur was born in 1885. He invented the Le Prieur rocket, an incendiary rocket used by early aeroplanes to attack Airships. This indicates that the idea of mounting rockets on Aerocraft* is not anachronistic with regards to AQMF. This unlocks the use of aerocraft for AQMF, as we have the paradigm for the early, frail kites they used as aerocraft to have weapons that will be able to attack Tripods with balance between the Martians and the primitive prey creatures. Msr. Le Prieur was also a significant contributor to the development of SCUBA. This means he could have been put to work on ways to protect prey creatures from the effects of green gas and black dust. Google searches for biographies of Msr. Le Prieur have uncovered little in English and I do not know enough French to read any of the numerous biographies in French. He is mentioned in several times in the works of Jacques Cousteau. • I use Aeroplane and Aerocraft to make the terms more visually different from lighter than air Airships.

Hmmm, puts my aircraft with rockets right on the battlefield. Either with Scotts aircraft or mine, the Martians have a real problem with the prey-that-stings air power.
