It is with deep regret I pass on the demise of 'Duke' Siegfred - a long time fixture in the gaming community and one of the most interesting members of historical and fantasy gamers to come along in our lifetime. Duke hosted wonderful, huge events at the various HMGS gaming conventions and others, which I was lucky enough to take part in at times. In addition, for a price, you could go to his home for a weekend of Napoleonic bliss - picked up by a limo, feed banquets, and play his amazingly accurate table with his beautiful miniatures. Please google him if you don't know about this man who brought so much joy to so many.

Yes, saw him at many an event. Was quite the showman! His pole lights really lit up his games! RIP Duke! Respectfully, Gunny

Yes, knew him, sold him some of my PaperTerrain. A nice guy and a great boon to the hobby. He shall be missed.

One final tribute - he was the first to term "Adventure Gaming" in our community. Here's to a great gamer - I look forward to meeting him again someday in gamer heaven. Guess I better clean up my act lol.
