Ok. I was promised a disaster. All I see is idyllic English countryside. In Canada? The purple trees give it away.

I didn't notice the terrain as I was too busy drooling over all the game books.

Ahhh, me thinks Q and I are of like minds - I've a similar collection that takes up 6 bookcases + other assorted holders in my basement & here at the computer. Mad indeed as yes I've read them all.

You need a thread where you take pictures of your stuff in batches.... for insurance reasons of course!

RE: sky poster or backdrops
These are available from Walthers or ModelTrainStuff among others. Just search "Backgrounds" They are not scale specific and come in a variety subjects, cities, countryside, mountains, etc. They are modular so that any of them can be joined together end-to-end to create a longer scenery run.

Yes indeed. Love the 'sky' effect you have in the background. I too have been surveying the local pet store and have found a bunch of niffy backdrops, like a huge forest and a mountain range. Nice touch !

Thanks for the additional source for those backdrops. I've been playing with a few 'sky' ones, using various small wood pieces rubber cemented to the star foam boards to hold them upright on the edges. I finally discarded the idea as players would tend to knock them over whilst reaching to pick up model. On a table set up like yours, they'd work fine.
I just wish I could do 10% of the organization you've done with your gaming space. I've a huge 2000' basement to work with and I just can't seem to get it together - maybe as the weather warms. You're an inspiration sir.
