I finished mine, after a couple nights lacking sufficient sleep.
READ THIS BOOK.
Enough said.

Thanks for all the nice comments! Please remember to post your review on Amazon (if that's where you got it.) Reviews are VERY important for how Amazon markets a product. There are only 2 reviews up so far for Counterattack. And I could really use more reviews on Invasion and Breakthrough. It had been up to 50 on Invasion, but for some reason it's slipped back to 49. Thanks!

If you haven't bought enough stuff from Amazon recently, they won't let you put up a review.

It will definitely be out as an audio book. Not sure exactly when.

I know this sounds horrible, but, I just got my 3rd book from Amazon yesterday. Illness and funds were about - so I look forward to the read in this bitter cold winter and will post review to Amazon asap.

Morgan, I hope you enjoy it!
The person doing the audio book tells me he will be starting recording very soon. I just sent him a pronunciation guide for the names of some new Martian characters.

I am enjoying the third book.
1) I believe the drones in the book have a bit better range than table top version. Not a criticism but a realistic alteration.
2) How your books ( and game ) mixes the real world historical of the of the time with what is for me believable sci-fi is a big plus.

Glad you are enjoying it. And yes, I didn't worry about the range at which drones could be controlled. I mean its by radio or something similar, why would there be such a short range for it? However I did put an upper limit on how many drones one Martian could control.

Scott, I see that you mentioned in a face book posting about the second trilogy concerning other parts of the world. Will it include the early Martian fighting career of the British liaison officer of the current triology ? I’d like to know more about him and the United Kingdom after the first invasion.

Major Bridges (a real person, BTW) will definitely appear in the next trilogy. There will be some overlap with the first trilogy in the time period covered, but not all the way back to the start of the war. I'm not sure just how much of Bridge's early career will be dealt with 'in the present' or as a flashback.

Flashbacks give me headaches, please keep them to a minimum.

I think it would be cool if MAJ Bridges was a veteran of the first Martian invasion .
