G'Day Mates, Good to see you all and thank you for the feedbacks and for viewing my progress work. (I also put the pics on facebook too). Yes, they are from Zinge Industries from UK : www.zinge.co.uk/I have been searching and finding for a perfect alternative steampunk weapons for my Commonwealth Forces Steam Tank unit. I have made a contact and talked to the staff of Zinge inudstries before purchasing them. The size of the weapons are actually suited for 25/28mm but it was a gambling that i bought a little some of them. I was worried if things were not working well but it's turning perfect!! Only they look bigger - so I consider them 'Large size caliber weapons!' for AQMF Steam tank unit. I only do this just for a showcase. Wish I got more time and money to do multiple numbers or mass producing these unit I am currently working but my wife is watching me from my behind now hahahaha... So far these are all I can do but I am still waiting 6 more BEF tanks to be fitted with various weapons from Zinge Industries. Then after that, I will continue for the painting. It will take times for the painting due to the detail of each weapons. Now..talking about detail..You will love it! There are also some weapons that need to be assembled and some are not. "Be prepared, Mates! the big boy 'Overseer' is coming!" Hope this help guys so yes, please check it out www.zinge.co.uk

I also love naming some them in a bit funny slang like Heavy Mortar = Heavy Dunk thrower, Multi launch Mortar = Multi Dunk thrower, Auto Cannon = Bigga Bren and Anti-Drone Flak = Bee Buster. Still not sure for alternative naming for the rest but pretty much remain the same like Gatling Gun, Multi-Rocket launcher. (I haven't found the alternate names yet Lol).

These are great. Many people have expressed and interest in multiple rocket launchers. This is a great way to make them. Bully!

Thank you Hardlec for a feedback I wish AQMF could create another unit for the rocket launcher (Multi-rocket launchers). Considering another optional weapon to slow down the advancing Martian tripods during the battle I just got a reference, a picture from WWI that I believe the French was using a rocket launcher.

Yeow. That looks like a scary weapon to fire. Strike match, light fuse, run for cover!!!

I thought it was a form of trench mortar used by the French. I've seen that on a figure in 15/18 somewhere. I'll get back to this at some point. Don't think it was a 'rocket' per se.

I believe you are correct, madmorgan. It was called a "spigot mortar." The giveaway is that baseplate to absorb the recoil. It is larger than needed for a rocket. Those guys all look kind of apprehensive about this whole exercise. Another variation on the theme:

Thanks for the clarification. I have heard of spigot mortars but don't think I ever saw a picture of one.

They were used in WW-2 by the British combat engineers. It was mounted on a Churchill tank, called AVRE--armored vehicle Royal Engineers. Delivered a huge BANG, but had to be reloaded from outside the vehicle. Bummer of a job under fire...
