I see lots of folks (Guests and members) browsing the forum but not much being posted recently. Just wondered if most of the pics and chat had moved over to facebook?

More's the pity if that is what they do.
I don't fool with Facebook for several reasons, not least of which is too much personal information is required sign up and it is poorly controlled once it is in their hands. Read the user agreement.

I've noticed how quiet it is. All Quiet on All Quiet! I'm working on Book 3 of The Great Martian War, what's everyone else's excuse?

I don't do Facebook (I agree with boxholder). So I hope folks are not switching to that venue. Had planned to have a game last week for which I would have posted pictures but it got moved to next month. And haven't had much painting time, so nothing to post from that.

I check out FB but mainly post here; busy preparing my corporate and personal tax returns this week so not much painting or modelling being done. I did manage to finish my 19 Flivvers and 4 Diamond T truck conversions today. Next: heavy field guns and anti-tripod guns.

1) Work for me has been a bit more consuming so limited time for modeling and what time I did have was devoted to Team Yankee. And that is not close to complete.
2) I was hoping for the newer stuff/ rules update from the AQ owners to generate more buzz. The overseer tripod looks impressive but not what I am looking for, TBH. 3) BUT, I just returned from spring break in Santa Fe, New Mexico of all places. Of course, travelled through Glorietta Pass and the high plains of northeast New Mexico. Now I am definitely motivated to play battles inspired by Book #2.

The official forum from AQ guys I infrequently browse.

Very busy with my business at the moment, but I am making more "me" time, so trying to complete all my units (and there are a lot of them!). I visit this forum, the official one and both Facebook groups for a read... I like to have my cake and eat it! ;-)

Yep, I must concur. Real life is getting in the way of my browsing time, sorry.
I tend to find I only post up new product on FB, but try to get involved with conversation on here a bit more.

A fair number of people are "lurkers" who visit and read frequently, but do not post actively for some reason(s). So, just visiting is a good thing. It gets them exposed--dare I say "infected."
I must say that this has proven to be one of the most civil internet boards that I have encountered. Good discussions without degenerating into "flame wars" and such.
Overall, that atmosphere might encourage the timid to come forth. It does take a bit of courage to put yourself out there and hit POST REPLY.
Another nice feature seems to be that signing up for AQMF Forum did not get me a bunch of worthless spam and ads. Thank you PRO BOARDS. Live long and prosper.
Those of you who do post on Facebook might consider doing a bit of advertising to invite others to visit here.

They seem to be different groups but you can't always tell as forum names don't match. I do use Facebook as I have family all over the world so it helps to keep in touch. I am in a few groups old school miniatures, old hammer etc. I am also in the All Quiet on the Martian Front group which seems the most used one. I was in the Martian Front group but I left last year after Ironclad bought the rights and the group was very negative towards them. I used to use Facebook groups to buy some of the old miniatures I collect but recently people are selling them at more then eBay prices!

I really enjoy this forum. It's easy for me to navigate and as boxholder says it's very civil and SPAM free.

Always a forum man here. I looked at the FB AQ posting and decided I really didn't care for some of the goings on there. Enuff said on that. But one FB listing I've found to cool is the one on 6mm gaming. Loads of neat modeling and terrain going on there.

I have been busy with work and small-business stuff as well.
I have a set of Mobile Artillery to be painted and the metal parts assembled, but I have had no time, space, or motivation to do them.
