What is the Martian critter next to the power node? A constructor? Thanks for posting another battle report.

I had always wondered how this Cylinder scenario would play out. It seemed tough for the Humans to win. Did you modifier it from the book for this battle?

Didn't use the book its a follow on fro the battle at Amherst the week before. The Martians disaster there had a direct impact on this game, they would have had more tripods if they had won the last game.

I think he meant what its function in the game was? I use those for Gatherers (with a modern garbage dumpster), but, I see how it could be a construction machine.

In the book scenario the attackers have to get over the berm into the crate and the berm was very hard to get anythign but infantry over, but infantry couldn;t do much to scratch the paint on the cylinder itself. Meanwhile, Tripods were trying to gun you down too.

Nice going! This is a great example of a mini-campaign of linked scenarios.

We played "The Cylinder" scenario once. The only armor that has a chance of crossing the berm are the Monotanks, as they move as infantry. I wanted to see how this was handled here, but the humans won by destroying all Martian defenders before assaulting the berm. After that, it was just a photo op for the foot. Nice layout and thanks for taking the time for the presentation. I like your explosion markers too.
